Top Easter Eggs on TV (Part 1)

Here are the top easter eggs that I've picked up on during my recent TV viewing experiences.

Gotham Season 2:

Indian Hill Villain Cameos
[Ep.6]
As Bridgit Pike is taken through Indian Hill for experimentations, she witnesses two visually interesting individuals who may or may not be future villains on the show.

Fish Mooney's Body
[Ep.11]
Fish Mooney's body is shown in a chamber as a possible foreshadowing for what's to come

Possible Future Villain
[Ep.13]
A possibly mutated or naturally deformed hand is shown slammed against a window within Indian Hill.  Given the nature of the setting, this may be one of Strange's experiments that we'll be seeing in a future episode.

Jerome's Body
[Ep. 13]
Much like in a previous episode showing Fish Mooney's body in a chamber, Indian Hill shows off yet a few more corpses to speculate over with Jerome's body being in the center.

The Mutants/Solomon Grundy
[Ep.14]
Although very brief, Alfred does mention that the name of the gang they encountered were called "The Mutants" and we do eventually hear them yelling out "Solomon...Grundy" to each other. Hmmm Interesting.

Paul Reubens Reprises His Role From Batman Returns
[Ep.15]
For those of you who may not have seen Batman Returns, Paul Reubens actually plays the Penguin's father in that film which makes his role in Gotham even more special for die hard fans.

Is Bruce Wayne Reading About Bats?
[Ep.17]
This one is a bit of a stretch, but the fact that Bruce was reading a magazine with an animal featured on one page and the other page unseen, I couldn't help but imagine him reading up on a certain winged mammal.

Joker Graffiti
[Ep.18]
Here we have some traditional Joker graffiti alongside Mr. Freeze. After Jerome's death, we've been getting little teases very sparingly regarding the Joker character through imagery, but this is definitely my favorite one so far.

The Mad Hatter
[Ep.19]
With Hugo now creating personas for his inmates, we do get an interesting scene foreshadowing a future Arkham villain as Hugo maniacally reads "Alice in Wonderland". It also helps that the phrase "Mad as a Hatter" is spoken in an earlier scene regarding something else.

Classic Hugo Strange Imagery
[Ep.19]
One of the coolest images that will definitely fly over casual audiences is the subliminal Hugo Strange imagery during Theo's conflicting mind. I was excited to see them utilize the very classic image of Strange's glasses being presented as these haunting-like glaring spotlights that peers into his subject's soul.

Killer Croc?
[Ep.20]
Is this Gotham's incarnation of one of Batman's biggest brutes from his rogues gallery? As Selena ventures through Indian Hill, she witnesses the guards struggling to transport one of the subjects to their cell who looks quite reptilian in appearance.

The Court of Owls
[Ep.21]
From the moment that owl mask was shown propped up by the phone, I immediately started to feel my inner nerd grinning with excitement. The Court of Owls is a villain that I've been dying to see in a live action setting, and although Gotham was the last place that I was expecting to see it, I'm even more excited for Season 3 than I was before thanks to this tease.

Season 3 Villain Easter Eggs
[Ep.22]
Looks like we'll be seeing Killer Croc somewhere down the line

Heard a familiar laugh in the background? You're absolutely right if you immediately thought of The Joker as that was in fact Jerome walking in the background with a robe on. Perhaps we'll be seeing The Joker in a more traditional sense sooner than we think.

Looks like the popular Batman villain Hush will be making an appearance as a young Bruce Wayne which will be an interesting story arc all on its own.

Gotham Season 3:

Oracle Foreshadow
[Ep. 2]
After Jim gets the information that he needs from Barbara at the club, Barbara makes an off the wall comment about a dream that she had which basically described a handicap individual and a baby. In certain iterations of the Batman mythos, Gordon has a child named Barbara who later becomes Batgirl, but is eventually handicapped later becoming "Oracle".

Legends of Tomorrow Season 1:

Damien Darhk's Appearance
[Ep.2]
Damien Darhk briefly appears during a weapons auction that takes place in 1975 which alludes to his immortality considering his appearance on Season 4 of Arrow.

"Justice Society of America" Name Drop
[Ep.16]
One of the biggest name drops in the entire CW comic book universe comes with the Season finale scene where Rex Tyler randomly shows up and name drops the "Justice Society of America" to the team while implying a mysterious impending doom.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3:

Civil War Crossover
[Ep.20]
The Civil War situation is spoken about on the news during the opening scene in the bar. You can also see "Buck's" in the background as a possible nod to Bucky.

Civil War & Avengers Crossover via Peggy Carter Article
[Ep.20]
As Coulson reads through a newspaper article about Peggy Carter's death (in connection to the events of Civil War), the Sokovia Accords, Hydra, and the Battle of New York are all mentioned in the article

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4:

Johnny Blaze Cameo
[Ep. 6]
As Robbie Reyes recounts his Ghost Rider origin story to his brother and Daisy, we see a mysterious man on a motorcycle rescuing Gabe right before resurrecting Robbie as an answer to his desperate call about saving his brother by any means. It is here where we see Johnny Blaze as the Ghost Rider transporting the spirit of vengeance to Robbie.

Luke Cage Season 1

Hammer Tech Weaponry
[Ep. 1]
Hammer  Industries (Justin Hammer's company) is presented as the engineers behind the weapon tech contraband during Cottonmouth's conversation with Domingo about his new arsenal shipment. Justin Hammer was one of the central villains of Ironman 2.

Luke Cage's Classic Costume
[Ep. 4]
For a brief moment, Luke unintentionally steals a shirt and pants that, along with his headband and arm braces, takes the image of his classic comic book attire.
