Gotham S2 Ep. 7 Quick Thoughts

"Mommy's Little Monster"

Everything about this season has seriously stepped up significantly as far as quality goes in comparison to the previous attempt and there I say "masterfully" improved upon. Nygma's turn to villainy was beautifully executed in this episode with both a visually and dramatically amazing scene. Penguin's story was pretty entertaining to watch as far as action goes and Galavan's puppeteering and  manipulative ways has really won me over as far as being a great season villain overall.

And of course I'm always happy to see arguably one of my favorite minor side villains in a comic book TV show, Victor Zsasz, so his scene during this episode was a treat was a nice treat for me to enjoy. So I say "Keep it up Gotham!" as you've already redeemed yourself for the most part from last season's horrendously crafted direction. Keep pouring down the new and intriguing characters while still having time to develop the major components that you've done such a great job in fleshing out so far. Keep this up and you may just end up being one of the best TV series in your respected genre without the need of a Bat suit wearing vigilante.

Episode 7 Rating: 10/10
