This week's episode of The Flash was pretty entertaining considering the villain of the week. I absolutely loved King Shark ever since he debuted on the show, so you can imagine that I had a lot of fun with this episode as they showed him hunting down the Flash on a brutal war path. My only issue is that I never got that massive King Shark Vs. Flash fight that I've been hoping to see.
I was almost certain that the shipping docks would act as a battle ground for the two with Barry luring him out on land to level the playing the field a little. Also, what's the deal with him just smacking Barry down in the street and running off without a trail? The guy's pretty big and kinda slow on land despite how fast they made him disappear onscreen.

Speaking of negatives, the Wally West stuff was a little annoying, but I totally understood where it was coming from as far as character drama goes for the story. Barry's electrifying whirlpool move was pretty awesome to see as it really showed off the show's visual FX budget on a praiseworthy level, but I do hope that it's not the last that we get to see him use it (could come in handy down the line).
Also, it was great to see Diggle and Lyla as the crossover component this time around as it added that ARGUS layer of mythology that I've missed from season 2 and 3 of Arrow. Let's just say that my dreams of seeing a Suicide Squad with King Shark included has gone one step closer to reality here.

The biggest topic is of course Zoom's big reveal. Is it Hunter Zoloman? The Rival perhaps? Either way, I'm actually really fascinated to see the iron masked character revealed as I'd love to see how the show is going to handle multiple Jays (assuming that he is another version of Jay).
My only issue with Zoom actually reminds me of my initial reaction to Kylo Ren taking his helmet off in The Force Awakens. At first sight, I felt that they just removed a significant portion of the terrifying, powerful, and badass presence of the character in that one scene. However, after much thought after seeing the film, I started to admire the character even more. With such a big reveal for Zoom, I just hope that they're able to follow it up with something great in the future while still keeping that powerful presence intact.
I'm having difficulties matching Jay's face with Zoom's badass voice, so I'm curious to see how they'll handle him going back and forth with the Zoom persona as well as the reasoning behind his mask looking the way that it does. I was more intrigued with the idea of Zoom's face actually being mutated into the mask due to the effects of the Speed Force or something of that nature, but perhaps the writers have something else even more compelling in mind. Overall, this may not have been one of the best episodes this season, but definitely entertaining for the most part.
