Legion Ep. 4
-Opening Narration by Oliver possibly points to the idea of curiosity and the dangers of it. Red and blue lighting is highly pronounced in the setting.
-Syd's voice is heard yelling "David wake up!" which leads to Syd waking up
-Kerry trains in background while others talk about David
-Painting next to Ptonemy possibly references David's complex mind. This can also be a visual reference to the scene where Syd sees David's mind as a gallery of small TV screens.
-Ptonemy (or Memory Bob Ross as I like to call him) says "Memories are unreliable" "David can make simulated reality" "This is real...I think"
-What if David got rid of an important conversation when destroying the tapes?
-Walter (or Crazy eyes as I like to call him) and Division 3 is briefly shown taking down Syd and crew
Amy speaks of having a feeling that David had powers this whole time which might explain why she really removed those garden tools from the basement after he broke his lamp. After Amy would ask him who he's talking to, he'd say "King" which is the frequently shown dog's name.
Amy reveals to Kissinger that they never had a dog after Kissinger states that David spoke highly of him in their sessions.
"X"-like design on the front? No? Maybe? |
-David's body gestures when attempting to channel his powers directly references Professor X's iconic pose from the comics and films.
-Oliver says to David that he is "Like a DOG trying to chew off his own tail". He also states that David's monster cannot get to him in that place and the creature tries to make him forget.
Oliver says that he knew a Melanie once. He tells David that the monster is waiting for him outside and is a parasite instead of a psychological metaphor. Oliver tells David "Remember. It's not real unless you make it real".
-Kerry likes to fight and constantly craves the action. She says "This would be an awesome place for a fight. Helicopters are coming in. Ninjas on fast ropes" with a grin on her face. This possibly foreshadows Division 3's later ambush and her fate.
-Syd contemplates about who is real between Lenny and Benny or are they one of the same and/or simply an illusion. This coincides with the Kerry/Cary spotlight during the episode.
-Pool talks of Benny having a negative effect on David's treatment which can easily be connected to Lenny's influence on David.
-Pool turned out to be Walter leading to the Division 3 attack teased earlier. It is here where we finally get to see Walter's powers in action.
-Syd switches out with Walter for a brief time. This might lead to some particularly interesting effects in the coming episodes considering his mysterious powers.
